I went to http://hashcat.net/hashcat-gui/ and downloaded 0.5.1. It says outdated, but anyway, I just want to test it. I ran the 32 bit version. I chose the hash file to be the first one found in the examples folder. The GUI said that the command line should be the following: hashcat-cli32.exe C:\Users\John Smith\Downloads\hashcat-gui-0.5.1\hashcat\examples\A0.M0.hash When I click "start" it only opens the command prompt with the following message: "Usage: hashcat [options] hashfile [mask | wordfiles | directories] Try --help for more help" So I type hashcat-cli32.exe C:\Users\John Smith\Downloads\hashcat-gui-0.5.1\hashcat\examples\A0.M0.hash, but I keep getting the same message. What did I do wrong? Windows 7, 32 bit, running on CPU mode.

As the page says, it's massively out-dated so your better off running my version as it works with the latest versions of all the hashcats.

Could you direct me to your version? I am having quite a hard time finding my way around here. Thank you! I mean, I found this page: http://www.md5decrypter.co.uk/downloads.aspx, but the Hashcat GUI download link is not working (link: http://home.btconnect.com/md5decrypter/HashcatGUI_020.zip) edited by Baal on 26/12/2012
