Hi guys,

I found a lot of password from a MD5 left list. Can anyone explain or give me a link how I can make a new left list (using windows) ?

Thanks in advance.

there's a proper way to make a left list but I just add the --remove to a hashcat command

It removes a hash from you original input file if you crack it. So if your input file (100MD5.txt) has 100 MD5 hashes and you run it against a wordlist and crack 64 of them while using the --remove option. At the end of your session your 100MD5.txt will no longer contain 100 hashes, it will have 36 uncracked hashes.

That's how I do it at least ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hi Purpleninja225,

Thanks for your quick reply. I will use it next time

Is there any other way to delete my found hashes from the left list ?

Otherwise I run it again with the --remove command again (tomorrow).

Thanks
