Do you have a handshake for it?

I found a picture of 1, in the one I found it appears the password is the same as the mac address, in lowercase.
Don't know if that holds true as it was the only pic I found of it.

Not at the moment but if I get one i'll put it up

It appears they all have strong WPS protection, only allowed 10 attempts in a one hour period. Managed to get to the 90pc mark with only a few combinations left so set it to run as 10 tries an hour on a delay, got to the end after a few days and then said it couldnt find it. Worked out the next set to go through would take about 40 days worth of waiting to go through.

I just searched for EasyBox 904 and the default password doesn't match the keyspace in this thread. I guess the newer versions are different.

EasyBox-###### - [0-9A-F] Len: 9
EasyBox 904 xDSL - [a-zA-Z] Len: 9

I also just found this on google: http://www.lte-anbieter.info/Bilder/technik/empfang/eb/ebox-back.jpg
Seems to be

EasyBox 904 LTE [a-zA-Z0-9] Len: 9

Not sure if the xDSL one also could have numbers .. can anyone confirm?

here in egypt vodafone routers used to have 30 ,32, 33 as starting numbers ,well this couple of years ago when wep was a popular standard 2009-2014 but since everyone migrated to wpa i don't know much

this more recent , dlink routers come with default keys of landline numbers/mobile so all digits unless they are replaced later.

Could do with an example of the WPA Keys used so we can analyse.

as for my experience with dlink routers from internet providers tedata and linkdsl (orange now) commonly assign subscribers phone-cell numbers as WPA keys by defaults

[+] WPA PSK: '010xxxxxxxx' mobile number
[+] WPA PSK: '011xxxxxxxx' mobile number
[+] WPA PSK: '012xxxxxxxx' mobile number
[+] WPA PSK: '022xxxxxxx' landline start with two digits code +02 like if u are dialing from a cellphone number to landline then "2" after them to specify area . last 7 numbers are the actual number

Has anybody looked into the keyspace for the new Virgin Media Hub (version 3)? Do we know if the default keys are using the full a-zA-Z0-9 keyspace?

The passphrase now appears to contain lower, upper and numbers. The default shipped with my router is 12 characters in length.
My passphrase contained one upper character and one number, the remaining 10 characters were lower case.

Ive been trying a virgin media hub the last few days and its not keyspace abcdefghjklmnpqrstuvwxyz so I suspect it could be a newer one as you mentioned D Williams...

Will try running it with the charset you mentioned and 12 char length.

EDIT: according to http://help.virginmedia.com/system/selfservice.controller?CMD=VIEW_ARTICLE&ARTICLE_ID=29477&CURRENT_CMD=SEARCH&CONFIGURATION=1001&PARTITION_ID=1&USERTYPE=1&LANGUAGE=en&COUNTY=us&VM_CUSTOMER_TYPE=Cable

the AP im looking at is a SuperHub and if that link above is correct its 8 chars letters and numbers. this has a SSID of virginmediaxxxxxxx. Might need to update the info on the first page of the thread as it looks like theres a few different variations of SSID and key depending on what model hub it is.

so like i said earlier on my first post here,i´m gonna share what i´ve got,i don t understand as mutch as most of you but my interest is in sharing and learn...
so i was in Spain for a couple of while and i was able to crack by wps some networks...
the first one was an orange router that had really good signal,a simple line command with reaver and pixie and at first try the pin and pass was found, this is how it turned out: ssid-Orange-94BE
bssid-20:08:ED:D0:94:C4
wps pin-36695720
pass-22AA22AA22
so this is from a ralink wps model number-RT2860,this is 10 lenght only upper letters and numbers,i believe it´s the default pass...

this one is from jazztel,i don t have that mutch info ´cos this one was wifite captured....
ssid-jazztel_0EFE
bssid-38:72:C0:D1:0E:FC
wps pin-18836486
pass-Xw6x7ZQRAnQHEQvLrJve
this one is 20 length, mixed upper and lower cases of letters and numbers,,i believe it´s the default pass...

Question-when we capture the handshake;that contains the xml file that is supposed to store the wireless pass right???
Hope the post is ok,if not someone let me know...

Thanks for those passes, I didn't know about the virginmediaxxxxxx ones having i & o left in them, that may explain a few things in that respect although i've never cracked one that has an i or o in them before so I as would others have gone with the old standard! I can help you work out which are which by the naming scheme though, the virginmediaxxxxxx ones are the original hubs, the VMXXXXXX-2G & 5G are the later model hubs from 2 or 3 onwards and the VMXXXXXX ones look to be the newer ones they've just brought out and follow the 12 char password a-z, A-Z, 0-9 format, i've had 3 or 4 pop up around by me recently so they're slowly replacing all the older ( and now easier to crack) ones. I'll certainly be running any virginmedia ones with the full alphabet next time round though just in case so thanks for bringing that info to light!

Just a quick addition, I've now got one of the new Virginmedia hubs and can confirm the naming scheme and WPA keyspace that's being used. The naming format looks like VM6449851 and the keyspace does follow the format a-z, A-Z, 0-9 but is 13 characters in length and not 12 as I 1st thought and the key looks like - tzfmphHYz5tp. Anybody else with these kind of hubs that can post their keys it'd be handy to see if the capitals, numbers etc stay in the same place or if they change position.

Ouch! [0-9a-zA-Z] Len: 12

Well, that's the end of that unless someone finds out how they generated the key. Even reduced key-space would not help here.

From my own VM superhub 3 is an Arris make and not the NETGEAR ones as the previous hubs 1/2 (2.4GHz only) virginmediaxxxxxx 2ac (both 2.4GHz/5GHz) VMxxxx-2G/VMxxxx-5G are...Got a feeling with them been a Europe company have they rebaned the new hub from maybe Ziggy? UPC?

Is there any MAC addresses for these ? I think they are needed if any kind of algorithm is to be found.

So far cracking VMxxxxx-2g with the command hashcat -w 3 -m 2500 -a 3 --markov-disable out.hccap -1 abcdefghjklmnpqrstuvwxyz ?1?1?1?1?1?1?1?1

upto 6 days and 89.97% and nothing any suggestions.
