it has already been asked, use the join command present by default on most unix systems:
join -t: -1 2 -2 1 emailhash.txt hashpass.txt | cut -d: -f1,2,3,4 (change with what you want to keep)
and before running join on the file, be sure there is no trailing \r
(you can use dos2unix to strip it)
