Ah yes! Thanks for letting me know fixed.

The "32hex_incorrect.7z" file is VERY interesting. They are all founds but are not correct, like they have an underlying algorithm.

Example are ones with a 64 hex plain. I have found them to be mainly IPB/MyBB hashes lol. So split the 64 hex into 2 hashes and crack them both separately. Once done, you'l have to code a way to re-build them and then submit the actual salted founds. You'll get the points for finding the correct hash:salt:pass

Noticed the competition page has different numbers for everyone. What changed to calculate the founds from the old to the new?

Also, great job on the new release!

OK, the merge process of the two database made a lot of changes, mainly removing duplicates. This may have impacted on the numbers I'm afraid

Thing is, HashKiller can now crack salted hashes even without the salt as long as we have it

Example: 00a1d606fb7f5b30ac4df5cdb9017271

Try it...

@blandyuk, mind to create simple API for automated founds upload?

You can already get JSON data from the cracker. Example:

https://hashkiller.co.uk/Cracker/API/09f577637889690914e510a3f8a229f9

Limited to 20000 requests per day.

More APIs will be coming and yes, I'll look at one for submitting founds directly with JSON response.

Note that new users are limited to 2 uploads per day and their uploaded have to be verified first by admins/mods before they will be accepted into the database.

Why not to verify founds online on server side?

If password verified you accept it and remove hash from the leftlist, if already found - skip it, in case of verify error - increment per-user error counter. Getting too high error counter lead to ban API access for given user to prevent spam uploads.
Also you can collect per-user and per-task stats, per-task stats will be very useful for paid section requests. No need to rely on mods or third-party verify services, no mess with leftlists (server will always hold actual leftlist), honest crackers stats based on founds upload timestamp.

Client side will require some kind of wrapper script for hashcat to upload founds in realtime.

Problem is users upload huge generated lists which I've been having lately. Floods the database so from now on, we have to verify them first.

Uploading salted founds is bugged.

Keeps complaining there's invalid hash:salt:pass combinations while inside pro verifies them all flawlessly.

Pls fix.

Also it is not displayed which line(s) are faulty resulting in it making it impossible to find the bug from my perspective

That's fixed now nice

But I accidentially uploaded the same file twice and it found 100% in both cases, also my highscore does not seem to update. Hmmm..

Hash score is based on the main export. NOT the hash lists.

Also, if you want to use the cracker API, you have to ask me as I have to give you an API key in order to use it. I've just put the restriction on this morning so no more free API calls now, (gets abused otherwise).

Not sure what you mean by that, but it seems bugged to me. Every upload is getting 100% even when I uploaded something I accidentally uploaded before

I've sorted the score issue so its no problem now. They wont get 100% now if the cracked hash already exists and it was not updated. The overall scores on the competition page are calculated from the daily export.

Nice to see the vbulletin hashes being cracked correctly you'll gain all the stats for them also as they have been cracked correctly! I just uploaded 560k incorrect IPB hashes which are not correct.

OK great! As I said, there will be bugs so if you find anything, no matter how small, let me know so I can fix it ASAP.

I'll be adding the Binary Translater back in today hopefully with some new feature:

1). Limited to 100KB when using online forum.
2). When using file upload, limited to 20MB.

Found another algo:

4D622B8ABE0CD47056767A7F74E68DCA = NTLM koala1502

So algo is: sha1(toupper(md4(unicode($pass))))

List manager kept complained about my upload.

I kept splitting the "fautly" part to isolate it (see attached). No clue what's wrong about it.

OK, it looks to be "[ValidateInput(false)]" as missing. MVC will block potential scripting attacks which is not relevant in this case.

Try now...

It's still denying it.

Something in that list must be bugging it out

I made a mistake in upload 107 and 110 (the salt . pass . salt ones) can you undo them?

My regex expression was not tight enough, I uploaded it before I realized it grabbed a bunch of other algo's with it. Derp.

I fixed it for sha1 though, see attached for the correct list.

Can you all look at the 32hex_incorrect.7z, 40hex_incorrect.7z downloaded. Ther have actualy founds, but are in hex:salt format. This means the underlying algorithm is yet to be found and cracked. If you do find and crack them properly with the actual plain, you'll get the points!

32hex_incorrect.7z is 236MB and thats 7zip so rather large! Lots to go at...

I got 140MB in md5(md5_pass . salt) founds I can't upload due to the list manager not accepting them, regex bugged?

Sample:

16c4c53cb743d2ccf0ad4e8bd9402570::turkuaz1962:turkuaz1962

FYI: the hex length 6 salt ones are detected as vbulletin by inside pro finder. I don't know if this is correct though.

Then another 90MB founds in md5(md5_pass . : . salt) algo, which isn't supported yet.
