I was wondering if anybody had any resources available which would have a text file input and would scan the file and recognise hashes, and then save them to an external file which is then ready for hashCat to parse. I know there's a lot of hash types out there, but just standard things. I know there exists some programs to classify hashes, so I assume it shouldn't be too difficult to scan through a file and grab some?

Just wanted to ask before I went and tried to make such a program.

Thanks for any response,
Radon

I don't think there are enough words to thank you kind sir. This is just what I was looking for, it also links onto hashMonitor which is a great idea and just what I need.

Now I can enhance my wordlists and practice cracking so much easier
