At the moment I just have all the insidepro & skullsecurity dictionaries together in one folder and I select them all to crack using rules but it takes quite a long time for this to complete, how would I go about optimizing my wordlists so that it doesn't take a million years to run through them completely.

Its not important the size of the wordlist. It must be unique.

You can have 200 MB of words, and have better results than 3 GB of words.

Also Rules you use are important as well!

What rules are you using? Some rules can drastically slow down your speed

Depends on Rules size as well!

I'm Using a rule that I created. Hashcat-Plus goes with 30k+ /s

I am currently working on a rule I want to call &quotSauron&quot, its a combo rule of all the great rules out there (including Pengo's) and removes duplicate items (One Rule to Rule them all!).

Its slow because I got to cross-check a lot of things.

I currently have 2 dictionaries. I originally had 22GB of dictionaries but using ULM, I combined them all and then stripped out duplicates making a 1GB dictionary. I also have crackstation dictionary which is a 15GB all unique dictionary as my backup.

Currently I use my combo rule, which is &quotblankyuk&quot+&quotPengo&quot+&quotbest64&quot and it covers pretty much everything really well.

Ok I am going to try combining all my dictionaries and removing the bad passwords like all number and all special characters as I can bruteforce them easily enough. Hopefully the will give me good results.

Bruteforce always wins, but it takes ages.
