Great, the chap said he was going to tidy it up a little and put it all into one program so the user only has a couple of clicks to do.

I hope he sticks with it as there are newer models out which I was hoping members here would tell him about.

Cool

However this new tool is very useful for those who have disabled WPS.

They look to be the right sort of output, why do you say they are "strange" ?

I have at least 4 APs to test so I've tried to generate the password list by suppling the program the initial seed and the final one. On Windows I get a crash and on Linux, after recompiling I get this error:

Code:
Generating list:
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::length_error'
  what():  basic_string::_S_create
Canceled

Does anyone experienced the same issue?

Hi hash-ire

I have used this program on win 7 64 bit with no issues.

Do you have any H.I.P.S protection running which might have interfered with it ?

I seem to remember having to turn off or allow it through Comodo.

Odd characters in the path name ?

Edit

This looks like a link to the dictionary anyway. Might be just as easy to use this.

Thank you for your reply Hash-IT.

I can make the program generate the complete dictionary from seed 0 to 2^31 - 1 (22 GB). The problem is when I specify a range of seeds (i.e. from 1325376429 to 1377907629 wich are dates from January 1 2012 to August 31 2013). When I do that, the program starts generating the list but at some point it crashes (on Linux too).

I think there might be an error in the code. Could someone try this too?

I don't really want perform multiple attacks on a 22 GB list .

Ah I see why it probably worked for me, I made the entire dictionary in one go. I didn't stipulate a start and stop.

Probably a bug then.

Sounds like you have the old version hash-ire.

Try this one ->> http://www.sendspace.com/file/k0vfb1

and if you're still having problems here's the dict
you wanted from January 1 2012 to August 31 2013

http://www.sendspace.com/file/829l20

EDIT:

Oh I just remembered, I have this tool for Linksys routers too.

Thank you very much PiXEL. As you said, I was using the old version . The new one works just fine and by default it starts generating the list from 2010.

Ha, thought so. I think 2010 is when these routers started to appear.

Here's the Linksys one

Let us know if you have any success with these gen tools, I don't have any of these routers to test.
