Things to do when your bored.......

Knock up a headless, battery operated WPA handshake grabber device thingy.

Contents of box

Raspberry Pi / Kali Linux 1.0.5 ARM
Alfa AWUS036NH (Injector)
TP LINK TN722N (hostapd) (Access Point)
5 Port Powered USB hub
BU-353 GPS
2 x 3amp 15000mah Anker Astro E5's (powers rpi and hub peripherals)

What you need

android phone!

Uses

Many!!

-----------------------------------------------

More a bit later on it's still in production.

I have a few cables to chop/modify for the power distribution but it does the job of grabbing those handshakes baby.

The two usb ports of to each side are for the power and centre one is for gps, while the white antenna is the AP which i connect to, then ssh into Kali with my Galaxy S4 and the black antenna is the alfa adaptor.

I do have 9db antenna for the alfa but i can seem to find it, err in doors has probably flung it in the trash again!!

Thanks!

Having trouble sourcing usb splitter cables with 3 male connectors! unless I buy for hong kong pfffft but anyway....their still too long.

I found a londoner thats sending up some diy usb plugs I can solder, so i can tailor the cable length myself, which is ideal as I only need a few inches.....tidiness is the key I don't care for botchy wiring wrapped in insulating tape!

Cables made. I don't need the splitters as yet so I've just made up 2 short male cables. It's seems very stable with 4 amps in total. It has already captured a couple of handshakes during testing.

I'll give the battery packs a full charge and benchmark them from 100% to Zero, sitting idle and then with airodump channel hopping then same again with gps active.

A very capable rig!

I'll get some of the inside once i tidy it up.

I found a sticker! lol asrock!
